SETDEV Set File Separator

Format

SETDEV (chan) SEP=char$

Where:

chan	Channel or logical file number of the file affected.
char$	Field separator character. Hex or ASCII string value. The string supplied must be one character in length.

Use this form of the SETDEV directive to dynamically change the field separator for a file.
