PxPlus 2021 Update 1 (version 18.10), September 2021

PxPlus 2021 Update 1 is an update release that includes the enhancements below and a number of small fixes that have been developed since the PxPlus 2021 (version 18.00) release.

Enhancements

Webster+

  • Added new functionality to Webster+ Inspector, including:

    • HTML Editor

    • Ed+ Editor

    • Ability to Download Editors JavaScript files to the Webster+ setup

  • New WatchChange and SignalChange methods added to the Webster+ object to monitor and signal when a file has changed to allow other tabs in the browser to update their display

  • Support for Drop Queries

  • Added run-time Report Writer filters

File Maintenance Generator

  • Ability to add standard and hyperlink Button controls to a NOMADS panel or HTML page

  • New Add Object drop-style button to select an object to add or edit and make it easier to add future enhancements

  • Ability to Validate Input as an Email Address or URL on an HTML page when an Email or URL data class is assigned to the corresponding data dictionary element

  • Added support for new Auto Advance Folder options

  • Added support for data files with External Keys

Enhanced IDE and Nomads

  • Improved the look and feel of the New Project and Toolbar buttons in the IDE Enhanced View

  • Webster+ Hotlink option added to Query Column Option and Query Formula Definition for specifying a hotlink for the column that will be used in a Webster+ environment

  • New Auto Advance options for Folder controls to enhance tabbing behavior

  • Advanced Print option added to the List Box and Grid System popup menu with the ability to include other screen entities to print

  • New Options for List Box and Grid Smart Controls with the ability to suppress graphic displays and hide the control when loading

Additional Enhancements

  • New *TOOLS/COPYDIR utility for copying a directory and its contents

  • Added support to the NOMADS Drag and Drop Utility to specify *FILE as the source to allow external applications (i.e. Windows Explorer) to drop file names onto a destination input control

  • Added support to the PxPlus Excel object for Hiding/Showing a Worksheet

  • Data Class Definitions and File Link Maintenance accessibility from the Utilities menu in Data Dictionary Maintenance

  • File Link Maintenance accessibility from the Data menu in the Report Designer

OPTION Mnemonics

  • New Copy_1Line_NoCR option to control text copy options
